Malcolm “Butch” Ewing, 85, of New Kensington passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024. He was born on September 17, 1938 to the late Harold and Doris (Woolweaver) Ewing. His wife Amy (Baiko) Ewing also preceded him in death in 2023.
Malcolm was a school teacher for the Penn Hills, Slippery Rock and Freeport School Districts for 29 years. He always helped those in need in the Dominican Republic and enjoyed painting, stucco work, golfing and traveling around the world.
Malcom is survived by his granddaughter, Ava Guzolik and a very dear friend, Frank “Chuck” Swanger.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, February 27 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci supervisor/owner. Burial will be private.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Belair Health and Rehab Center and Monarch Hospice for the love and compassionate care that they gave to Malcolm.
