Gloria T. Yannuzzi

Gloria T. Yannuzzi, 84, of Arnold, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Feb. 3, 1932, in Springdale, to the late Frank and Concetta (Curcio) Yannuzzi. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Yannuzzi; and sister, Anna Yannuzzi. She was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, a graduate of Arnold High School, valedictorian of the Class of 1950 and had perfect attendance for all 12 years. She retired from Alcoa, Pittsburgh Headquarters, after 40 years as an executive secretary for Officer Compensation. Gloria enjoyed traveling, especially to Italy, cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She gave her life to the church, was a servant, devoted and loyal and was very giving to the church and to her family. Survivors include her brother, James "Vince" Yannuzzi, of Lower Burrell; nieces and nephews, Richard (Debbie) Yannuzzi, Deborah (Bob) Boudrow, Jeffrey Yannuzzi, Linda Stubbs, Donna (Joe) Cleary and Mark (Lori) Yannuzzi; and many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner-supervisor. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. Everyone please meet at the church. Burial will be private.
