Jeanne Mishtal, 90, of Arnold, died Monday, May 30, 2016, at Amber Woods Assisted Living, Cheswick. Born May 14, 1926, in Mink Creek, Manitoba, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Anne (Pitura) Bohonos. She attended Success Business School in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, attaining her associate's degree in business. She was formerly employed as an office supervisor with the J.C. Penny Co., retiring after 28 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Mishtal, from Arnold; and brothers and sisters. She is survived by a brother, Walter (Sylvia) Bohonos, of Winnipeg; daughter, Joanne (Phillip) Polivka, of Carmel, Ind.; sons, John (Phyllis) Mishtal, of Indiana, Pa., and Joseph (Cynthia) Mishtal, of Athens, Tenn.; grandsons, Stephen (Brooke) Polivka, of Westfield, Ind., Jonathan (Kathleen) Polivka, of San Francisco, Calif., Aaron Mishtal, of Knoxville, Tenn., and David Mishtal, of Athens, Tenn.; and great-grandson, Benjamin Polivka, of Westfield. She was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, Arnold. Friends will be received 4:30 to 8 p.m. Friday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 5th Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner, supervisor. At 7:30 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Yaroslav Koval will hold a Parastas in the funeral home. The Panakhyda service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass 10 a.m. at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Arnold.
