... to echo the sentiments I placed in the 'Trib' .. this is an extremely tough day for me; I cannot believe that my lifelong friend and ole' running mate, Johnny Mac is gone .. I will always remember John as: the kid with the shiny, yellow Schwinn 10-speed, as my partner in ... [shall I say] 'mischief', as the first person that I ever performed music (albeit 'basement'-level music) with, as a great childhood friend that remained a great adult friend - condolences to family, and to our extensive circle of friends - 'Robin Hood', Johnny Mac ... he will understand the reference

I am saddened to read of the passing of a friend of mine from high school. John was always nice to everyone and always there to help people in need from his many strengths: physical, intellectual and his deep strength of character and caring. Wishing his family comfort in this time.
