Marian (Longo) Rizzo

Marian Rizzo, 88, of Arnold, died peacefully Friday, May 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 21, 1928, in New Kensington to the late Salvatore and Mary (Pagano) Longo. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Murray, and son-in-law Roger Stiveson. She was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Mrs. Rizzo enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She retired from Papercraft Corp. in 1991 after 20 years. She was always gracious, always said thank you and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Russell Rizzo, of Arnold; two sons, Samuel and Richard, of Arnold; two daughters, Judy (Charles) Settle, of Lower Burrell, and Margie (Patrick) Murray, of Springdale; grandsons, Vincent Rizzo and Tim Settle; and granddaughters, Sara (Aaron) Gardone, Jennifer Stiveson (Brian) Hixenbaugh, Ashley Rizzo and Caroline (Matthew) Stromberg. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carmella (Steve) Catanese, of Arnold, Jean (Caesar) Cetti, of Lower Burrell, and Eileen Checkeye, of Fort Worth, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
