Donna Marie (Schrag) Henderson

Donna Marie Henderson, 85, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on April 22, 2024 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Grace (Moxon) Schrag.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henderson in 1995, her brothers Jack and Blaine Schrag and a granddaughter, Gianna Henderson.           

Donna was a beautician for many years.  She enjoyed crocheting and quilting; however, her real passion was babysitting and taking care of all of her grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren. 

Surviving Donna are her sons, Thomas William (Missy) Henderson and Donny (Erika) Henderson and her daughter, Marianne (Lou Sack) York.  She is survived by 2 brothers, Gary (Alaine) Schrag and Ronald (Dale) Schrag , 5 sisters Margaret Ciminera, Joyce Schrag, Darlene Schrag, Bonnie (Dan) Fuller, Roxanne (Melvin) Sabulsky, and several nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Tyler (Ciara) Henderson, Morgan (Matt Fertig) Henderson, Ashlee (Justin) Moore, Patrick York, Genevieve Henderson, and Gia Henderson.  Also surviving Donna are 6 great grandchildren, Blake, Thomas, Thea, Eleanora, Tillie Jo, and Jhett as well as 3 step great grandchildren, Madison, Nico, and Ben. 

Viewing will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor.  A funeral service will take place Friday 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Dean Ward officiating, followed by burial at Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
