Grace - Maria Grazia – Puglisi, 99, of Arnold, passed peacefully on April 19, 2024 and is now in the arms of her loving Father God in Heaven. Grace was born in her family home in Arnold, PA to the late Domenic and Francesca Puglisi and lived there her entire life until moving to a long-term care facility in her last few years. Grace was preceded in death by her brothers Samuel and Michael Puglisi and her sister Josephine Hadley. She is survived by her brother Philip Puglisi of Soap Lake, Washington. A lifelong member of Mount St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Grace was a devout Christian with a large love of God. Jesus Christ and Mother Mary were always there to give her the strength to manage her physical disability. Grace supported all she knew through her faith or any other way she could. To Grace everyone was truly equal and deserving - family, friend, or stranger. She loved music and animals often singing or humming tunes all day as she worked tirelessly around the house helping and caring for anyone who was there. She enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels that were in the neighborhood. They were used to seeing Grace daily and would often be waiting for her loving approach and the conversation she gave them. But mostly she loved her family, Mama, Papa, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, and cousins too many to mention by name. Nieces Kristin and Jennifer Hadley and Nephew Nick Hadley were especially close and loving to her as she frequently cared for them as young children.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Burial will be private.
