Mary Gemma (Feola) Kasprzyk, 99, of Plum Boro passed away peacefully with her family at her side on April 11, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1924 in New Kensington to the late Nicola and Maria (Perriello) Feola. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Alexander Kasprzyk. Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Emil, Paul, and Charlie Feola and a granddaughter, Esther Kasprzyk.
Mary was a member of Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, using her laptop, watching her soap operas and mostly spending time with her family. After graduating from Ken High in 1942, Mary worked for Alcoa Aluminum making ammunition casings during World War II. She married Alex on November 15, 1947 and started her family. She was a loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mary is survived by her sons, Joseph (Revella) Kasprzyk, Illinois, Philip (Rebecca) Kasprzyk, Washington Twp., David Kasprzyk, West Deer, daughter, Barbara (Lloyd) Zelinsky-Snell, Plum with whom she lived, 21 Grandchildren, David (Laura) Kasprzyk, Joshua Kasprzyk, Nick (Jami) Kasprzyk, Laura (Dan) Jensen, Michael (Breanne) Kasprzyk, Ryan Snell, Eric (Honey-Lyn) Snell, Jacob (Mandi) Kasprzyk, Nicole Zelinsky (Ruben Castenada), Caleb (Hannah) Kasprzyk, Courtney Zelinsky (Erik Bergenthal) and Cassidy Kasprzyk, 15 Great-grandchildren, Louis, Marc, Rose, Addison, Luc, Calixto, Alexander, Sarah, Rachel, Anna, Jack, William, Liam, Oliver and Henry. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. Prayers of Transfer will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Arnold.
