Eric D. Anderson, 69, of Lower Burrell, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born July 4, 1949, in New Kensington, to Mary Lou (DesRoche) Anderson, of Springdale and the late Howard D. Anderson. He was the husband of 38 years of Sandra (Nicastro) Anderson, of Lower Burrell. Eric was the "Go-To Fix-It Man" in the family. He enjoyed trips to the beach, Vegas, golfing, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and going to camp with his buddies. He was a man of few words, but his heart was huge. Most of all, he held his family, children and grandchildren close to his heart. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sandra (Nicastro) Anderson, of Lower Burrell; daughter, Erica (Ken) Anderson Bowman, of Lower Burrell; son, Anthony L. (Denise) Tanilli, of Lower Burrell; three and grandsons, Connor Anderson-Rearick, Braiden Tanilli, and Kash Bowman. Also surviving is his mother, Mary Lou (DesRoche) Anderson, of Springdale; two brothers, Gary (Caitlin Evans) Anderson, of Cheswick and Craig (Joan) Anderson, of South Carolina; and a sister, Holly (Dan) Kuehn, of Export. He is also survived by his best bud, Milo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Nick Chybrzynski officiating, followed by burial at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
