MEMBERSHIPS/ INTERESTS: He was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Oakmont, a member of the vestry of the church and Senior Warden of the Parish. Lew had a deep appreciation for his faith and a realistic outlook on life, always telling it as he saw fit. He was a proud Army Korean War veteran. During the war he was assigned at both the White House and the Pentagon, where he learned his investigative skills and led him to his life long career. He enjoyed Jazz, a good scotch, his many jaguars, a passion for refurbishing antiques and spending time with his grandchildren.
SURVIVORS: Besides his wife, 2 sons Douglas Dexter, NC and Timothy (Sharon) Dexter, Springdale, a daughter Jennifer (Frank) Lombardo, Oakmont, 4 grandchildren Dexter Lopez, Logan, Jocelyn and Liam Dexter, his 3 little Maltese’s, Henry, TT and Chico. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
VISITATION TIME & WHERE: Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., in the English Funeral Home and cremation services, Inc. 378 Maryland Ave. Oakmont, pa 15139.
FUNERAL TIME & PLACE: A Funeral Mass will be Friday 10:30 A.M. at the St Thomas Episcopal Church, Oakmont. Everyone please meet at the church. With the Rev. Fr. Jeffrey Murph officiating.
BURIAL: Will Be Private
