Helen Marie (Slagle)

Age 93, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Arnold passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2018.

Helen is preceded in death by cherished parents Elmer Reed and L. Irene (Hoover) Slagle, loving husband, Neno Peconi in 2003, and Son Gerald “Jerry” Peconi in 2017.

Survived by Daughter Karen Peconi Biricocchi, Grandchildren Sharon (Michael) Biricocchi Ondo, Wesley Biricocchi, and Great-grandchildren Grace and Jake Ondo, Sister Emma Lou (Robert) Crissman, Daughter-in-law Diane Peconi, Grandchildren Jessica (Pierce) Cook, Adam Peconi and numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was a member of the Mt. St. Peter’s Church and the church Addolorata Society, and DAV.  Helen will be dearly missed for her kind spirit, sense of humor, optimism and famous pizzells by her family, and dear friends of Arrowood and Lower Burrell Manor.

Friends will meet at Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, 100 Freeport Rd. New Kensington, PA 15068 for a 10 A.M. Funeral Mass Monday.

Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
