Lillian M. Dzugan, 88, of New Kensington, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. She was born Feb. 15, 1929, in New Kensington to the late Umberto and Marianna (Colletti) Traini. She was married for 60 years to her husband, James Dzugan, of New Kensington. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, James G. Dzugan; three brothers, Oscar, Duilio and Vespucci Traini; and two sisters, Evelyn Spataro and Aida Como Backo. She was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington, Adolorata Society of the church and Ezekiel 37 Prayer Group. She also enjoyed playing cards. At one time, Lil worked as a cashier for A & P Grocery Store in Arnold, retiring after 33 years, and also sold cemetery monuments for Carlini Brothers in Arnold. She is survived by her husband, James Dzugan, of New Kensington; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, Owner-Supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington.
