Norma L. (Pavan) Predebon

Norma L. Predebon, 84, of Arnold, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Jan. 25, 1933, in New Kensington to the late Albert U. and Lillian (Mazzola) Pavan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Predebon, in 2007; a brother, Ernie Pavan; and a daughter-in-law, Vinessa Predebon. She was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. She formerly worked at Allegheny Valley Hospital Radiology Department for 25 years. Norma enjoyed traveling with her husband, cooking and baking for her family, shopping and, most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also an excellent seamstress. Survivors include two sons, Bruce (Marie) Predebon, of Leechburg, and David V. Predebon, of Arnold; a daughter, Paula (Eric) Predebon Thomas, of Grove City; 10  grandchildren, Adam (Ashley) Predebon, Stephen (Rachel) Predebon, Joseph Predebon, Veronica (Chris) Predebon Rugh, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Samuel Predebon, Ryan (Alon) Thomas, and Olivia and Grace Thomas; and two great-grandchildren, Declan Thomas and Alexander Predebon. She is also survived by a sister, Gloria Tudor, of Saxonburg and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner-supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter Church. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Arnold. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norma's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
