Sandi Bush, 56, of Lower Burrell, passed away on May 22, 2019. After a long battle with bone cancer, she passed peacefully while surrounded by close family and friends.
Sandi was born Sandra Lee Sonner, on February 5, 1963, in New Kensington.
Sandi was predeceased by her mother, Helen Veseley, and father, Jake Shank; brother, Frank Sonner; and grandson, Greyson Sonner. She is survived by her beloved children, Michael Sonner, Monique Sonner, Cheyana McCall, Ty Neusch, and Hunter Neusch; her sisters, Shirley Wilson, Kathee Sonner, and Debi Sonner; her grandchildren, Christopher Noel, Teagan Sonner, Matthew Noel, and Giovani, Lucca and Liam Bevilacqua; and her pets, Max, Tubby, Lulu, and Chuck.
Sandi will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Her strength, positive attitude, and ability to show humor while fighting this insidious disease serves as an inspiration to all of her family and friends.
Sandi wants everyone to honor her memory by never letting anger overcome love for the people in their lives, and by performing random acts of kindness as often as possible.
Sandi's family would like to thank Marlene Russo, Lisa Mercurio, and all of the people who were there to love and take care of her in her final days.
There will be no funeral service. There is, however, a Celebration of Sandi's Life scheduled for Sunday, June 2nd, 1:00 pm, at the PLMS Club, 600 Constitution Blvd, New Kensington.
