Yolanda M. (Prato) Livorio

Yolanda M. Livorio, 92, of Lower Burrell, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at Harmar Village Care Center, Cheswick. She was born Aug. 4, 1925, in Freeport to the late Pantaleone and Carmella (Verzino) Prato. Besides her parents, she was preceded by her beloved husband, Vincent Livorio, in 2001; two brothers, John and Sam Prato; and two sisters, Mary Piperato and Edith McDermott. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, former Sons of Italy, New Kensington, and Columbiana and Forward America, both in Arnold. Mrs. Livorio enjoyed baking, cooking, bingo, Pokeno, card-playing and family get-togethers. Survivors include her two daughters, Theresa Frazier, of Arnold, and Nancy Oliver, of Lower Burrell; four grandchildren, Edward M. Frazier Jr., Kristen Frazier, Jayme Livorio and Haylee Oliver;  three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Robert (Barbara) Livorio, of New Kensington; and a sister-in-law, Sylvia (William) Englert, of New Kensington. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner-supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell. Burial will be private.
