Obituary

Amy K. Ewing, 57, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born March 21, 1965, in Pittsburgh, to the late Richard and Janet (Betzold) Baiko Sr. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffry "JB" Guzolik, in 2015. Amy was employed as a custodian with the New Kensington-Arnold School District at H.D. Berkey in Arnold. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter. She is survived by her loving husband, Malcolm "Butch" Ewing, of 12 years; her brothers, Richard Baiko, of Colorado, and John Baiko, of New Kensington; her granddaughter's mother, Alexandria "Ali" Haidze, of New Kensington; a granddaughter, Ava Lynn Guzolik; and lifelong friend, Kim Swanger, of New Kensington. Friends will be received from noon until the time of service at 3 p.m. Monday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, John Paul Bertucci, owner/supervisor.
