Ann C. DeFelice, 100, of New Kensington, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, at Platinum Ridge Rehabilitation Center, Brackenridge. She was born Jan. 23, 1922, in Crabtree, daughter of the late Luigi and Mary (Devaleria) Galie. She was the wife of the late Arthur DeFelice, who preceded her in 1995. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, Adam, Albert and Alfred Galie, and a son-in-law, Edward "Bob" Maytan. Ann was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, especially spaghetti and meatballs, dancing and spending time with her family. Ann is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Maytan, of Lower Burrell, and Donna (Douglas) Black, of New Kensington. She is also survived by two grandsons, Robert (Kim) Maytan, of Cranberry, and David Maytan, of Fox Chapel; a sister, Alvera Pellegrino, of Arnold; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until prayers of transfer at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci owner/supervisor. A funeral Mass will be Wednesday at noon in Mt. St. Peters Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Arnold. The family would like to thank Platinum Ridge for the loving care they gave to Ann. Memorial contributions can be made to Mt. St. Peter (Home Bound) or any organization to help the elderly.
