Anthony M. Farinelli Jr., 80, of Michigan, formerly of New Kensington, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at Suncrest Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. He was born July 22, 1940, in Arnold, son of the late Anthony Mauro and Nicolina (Caputo) Farinelli Sr. He was the husband of 40 years of M. Kathleen (Crilly) Farinelli, of Michigan. Besides his parents, he was preceded by a brother, Warren Farinelli. Anthony was a family man and a happy people person. He loved his job working at the Salt River Project for 27 years. A proud veteran and a Boy Scout leader for 10 years through St. John's Church in Arizona, he enjoyed collecting trains and always had a kind word and a smile on his face. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, M. Kathleen (Crilly) Farinelli, of Michigan; three sons, Anthony "Chris" (Carrie) Farinelli III, of Arizona, Timothy Patrick Farinelli, of Arizona, and John Edward Ridgeley, of Arizona; two daughters, Susan Lynn (Jesse) Walling, of Michigan, and Jennifer Nicole Storey, of Arizona; nine grandchildren, Cody Farinelli, Mackenzie Howard, Rowdy Farinelli, Courtland Farinelli, Kody Sir, Raymond Ridgeley, Courtney Storey, Amanda Storey and Christopher Anthony Storey; and four great-grandchildren, Reagan, August , Killian and Cornelius. He is also survived by a brother, Mauro (Judit) Farinelli, of Hawaii, and three nephews, Mauro Farinelli Jr., of Virginia, Jonathan Farinelli, of Utah, and Philip Farinelli, of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday from 8 a.m. until prayers of transfer at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci owner/supervisor. A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
