Barry John Fiorina

Barry John Fiorina, 73, of Plum Boro, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022. St. Margaret Hospital, Aspinwall. Born Oct. 31, 1948, in New Kensington, to the late Bartholomeu "Bert" and Josephine (Maroni) Fiorina, he was the husband of Connie (Keaton) Fiorina of 51 years. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and David Fern; and his stepmother, Mary Jean (Pencheck) Fiorina. Barry was a proud Army war veteran who served two tours in Vietnam and had an enormous love for his country. He enjoyed golfing and reading. He had an infectious personality and sense of humor that embraced all those around him. He especially had a tremendous love for his friends, family, his son, grandson, the love of his life, Connie, and his black lab, Simba. Barry was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #92 and a member of the Seventh Street Sportsman Club in New Kensington. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Connie (Keaton) Fiorina, of Plum Boro; his son, Nicholas Fiorina, of Plum; a grandson, Lorenzo Guista Fiorina; a brother, Steven (Janet) Fiorina, of Florida; three sisters, Margaret Bramfeld, of California, Lois "Jean" Protzek, of Plum and Ernestine "Tina" Protzek, of Springdale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. A funeral service will be held at the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Ken Zaccagnini presiding followed by military honors.
