Beatrice "Bonnie" E. Wheeler, 77, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in her home. She was born November 27, 1946, in Pittsburgh, to the late Otto and Assunta (Fazio) Mariani. She was the wife of Glenn R. Wheeler of 45 years, New Kensington. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Marcantonio. Bonnie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, couponing, bowling, and spending time with her family, many of whom lovingly called her Tuie. Known for her infectious, full body laugh, quick wit and kind heart, Tuie will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Glenn R. Wheeler, a son, Glenn R. (Beth) Wheeler, Jr. of Avonmore, a daughter, Cherie (Keith Rogozinski) Wheeler of Penn Hills, brother-in-law, Paul Marcantonio of New Kensington, foster sister, Darlene Kuhn, 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and an uncle Orieste Mariani. She is also survived by a nephew JohnPaul (Bethany) Marcantonio and a niece, Gina (Joe) Sacriponte. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm Sunday in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner / supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place at 9:30 am Monday, in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in Mt. St. Peter R. C. Church.
