Bruce Evans Obituary

Bruce Evans, 86, of Oakmont, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 21, 2022, at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 16, 1936,in Indianola, to the late Charles and Helen Evans, he was husband of the late Joan I. (McClure) Evans. Bruce was a professional self-employed plasterer and worked into his 80s. He enjoyed playing soccer, boating, fishing cooking and baking. He made the best homemade perogies and cheesecake. He was truly a blessing to his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Survivors are a son, Rich Evans, of Indiana, two daughters, Kathy (Jim) Evans-Griffith, of Maryland, and Brenda (Ron) Spies, of Florida; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, MaryLou Kiraly, of Monroeville, and Arlene (John) Vento, of New Kensington. Arrangements are in the care of GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. All services and burial are private.
