Obituary
Carol Jean Cooper, 82, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022. She was born on November 18th,1940 in New Kensington. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Corsaro, and her sister, Nancy Collins-Davis. Carol was an avid reader and loved using her granddaughter’s kindle to read hundreds of different novels, she enjoyed gardening and planting in the sun and playing cards. Her fiery, vibrant personality and charming wit remained with her throughout her life, and her kindness, generosity, and selflessness were an inspiration to everyone around her. Carol was an incredibly caring mother and grandmother, she was extremely proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with all of them. Carol will be dearly missed in all of our hearts. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Domenic) Verdini, Pittsburgh, her son, Brent (Paula Hyder) Grabigel, Gibsonia, her sister, Patricia (Dennis) Harmon, FL, and four grandchildren, Isabella and Mia Verdini and Nicklas and Roman Grabigel. Arrangements were entrusted to the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 5th Ave. Arnold, PA 15068, JohnPaul Bertucci, Supervisor/Owner. Burial will be private.
