Carol L. Saccamano

Carol L. Saccamano, 85, of Lower Burrell, died Thursday, April 28, 2022, at St. Barnabas, Gibsonia. She was born April 4, 1937, in New Kensington, daughter of the late August and Matilda Saccamano. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Saccamano. She was a member of Mt. St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Addolonta Society and Resurrection Choir. Carol was previously employed at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh and was a member of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She loved perfume and jewelry and visiting with friends. Carol was a very compassionate and kind-hearted woman. Survivors include her niece, Maria, and nephew, Michael. She is also survived by two great-nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2022, in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
