Charles A. Capone, 92, of Lower Burrell, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 in Lower Burrell. He was born February 8, 1932, in Arnold, to the late Antonio and Julia (Rapp) Capone. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving spouse, Ann (Giordano) Capone in 2020 and a son, Charles Capone II in 1995. Charles was a member of Mt. St. Peter R. C. Church, New Kensington. He retired from PPG Industries where he worked at both the Creighton and Ford City locations for 40 years. Charles was a 1950 graduate of Arnold High School where he was known as "Mr. Fix-It" and also built many homes in the local area. Charles was a proud Korean Army War Veteran. Surviving him are three daughters, Nancy Jean (Tim) Beeman, CA, Carol Ann (John) Watson, Upper Burrell, and Anna Marie Capone, Mars; brother, Patsy Capone, Arnold, two sisters, Mary Haberman, Arnold and Theresa Faybik, Lower Burrell; granddaughter, Angela Purpura of MD and his great-grandson, Michael Novack. Friends will be received Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor where a funeral service will take place Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Arnold.
