Constance "Connie" Gentile, 88, of Tarentum, formerly of Arnold, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born July 20, 1935, in Natrona Heights, to the late Andrew and Anna (Preisser) Kengor. She was the loving wife of the late James Gentile, who passed away in 2008. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Kengor Jr. Connie was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, and the Addolorata Society of the Church. She was a devout Catholic who attended "Mass" daily at various churches in the local area. Connie had worked for both PPG Industries and the Citizens General Hospital Little Shop. Surviving Connie are two sons, James (Rhonda), of Fawn Township, and Tom (Jeannie), of California; a sister, Elizabeth Cernicky, of Arnold; six grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Kaitlin, Nolan, Josh and Shane; three great-grandchildren, Adam, Isabella and Alannah; and also several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, John Paul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Monday in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Everyone please go directly to the church. Burial will be private. Connie wishes to thank God, her family, neighbors and the many acquaintances that shared her daily life. It was a pleasure to have known all of you. God Bless You.
