Dennis R. DiCicco

Dennis R. DiCicco, age 81, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Originally from Coraopolis, PA, Dennis was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and dedicated his professional life to working with children as a speech pathologist in the New Kensington–Arnold School District.

A man of deep faith, Dennis was an active member of Mount St. Peter Church where he served as an usher and volunteered countless hours at parish events.

Following his retirement, Dennis continued his lifelong service to the community. He served on the board of Westmoreland County Community College and contributed locally through the Parks and Recreation Committee and his neighborhood triangle garden.

He will also be remembered for his sharp wit and playful, mischievous spirit, a trait that brought laughter and warmth to family, friends, and all who knew him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Rose DiCicco and his in-laws, William and Anne Pugliese. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Therese; his son, Alex (Jamie); and his daughter, Angelena (Michael) as well as his extended family Lucianne Pugliese, Fran (Michelle) Pugliese, Dan (Gretchen) Pugliese, and Bill (Arlena) Pugliese as well as many nieces, nephews, and Colin, Brady, Logan, and Kiley.

He was an adored son, husband and father whose steady presence, gentle wisdom, and enduring love will be deeply missed.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm in the Giunta-Bertucci funeral home, inc. 1509 fifth Ave. Arnold, pa 15068.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday 10 AM at Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington. Everyone attending the mass please go directly to the church. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hillman Cancer Center in support of cancer research.
