Dorothy Jean (Albanese) Checkeye

Dorothy Jean Checkeye, 90, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Cranberry Place, Cranberry Twp. She was born July 1, 1932, in New Kensington, to the late Nicola and Antonette (Rich) Albanese. She was the wife of the late Robert Jack Checkeye. Besides her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Nicholas, James and Joseph Albanese and a sister, Lorraine Napoli. Dorothy was a member of Mt. St. Peter R. C. Church, New Kensington and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by 2 Sons, James N. (Valerie) Checkeye of Butler and Robert J. (Dorothy) Checkeye of Apollo; A celebration of life Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday November 26 at the North Apollo church of God 507 20th St. North Apollo, Pa 15673.
