Dylan Corey, 31, of Lower Burrell, was taken from his loving family Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, as a result of a tragic accident in Somerset County. An experienced lineman and crew foreman for Duda Cable Construction, he was working on a project in the area. In addition to his parents, Sam and Cynthia (Angelisanti) Corey, and a brother, Eric, of Lower Burrell, Dylan is survived by his soulmate, Casey Shean; and daughters, Penelope Marie and Evelyn Rachel. Dylan lived for his three girls. He and Casey constantly planned big and little adventures. When they weren't at the local playground or pool, they loved to fish and hunt for mushrooms or "geo caching." They made a great team, parenting their girls through academics and life skills. All four loved a good steak and Dylan was quite the "jerky connoisseur." Dylan was a Burrell wrestler for 10 years, with state medals in Folkstyle, Freestyle, Greco Roman and a part of Burrell's WPIAL and Pennsylvania State Championship teams. Dylan was sure to pass along his "Corey" sense of humor with a healthy dose of friendly sarcasm all the way down to his five-year old. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. A funeral Mass will be held at noon Saturday at St. Margaret Mary's Church in Lower Burrell. Everyone please go directly to the church. Burial is private.
