Eileen Hannon, 83, of New Kensington, died Thursday, March 17, 2022, in her residence. She was born July 2, 1938, New York City, Manhattan, to the late Bruno and Florence (Vitolo) Buset Sr. She was the wife of 56 years to Vincent Hannon, of New Kensington. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her younger brother, Joseph Buset. She spent her life loving Jesus and taking care of her family. She is a breast cancer survivor. She also was a school crossing guard in her youth, a member of the Addolorato Society, Eucharistic Minister, Sunday School teacher and she performed funeral services for Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member. She participated in many charities, especially knitting hats for cancer patients and sewing booties to prevent young women from getting abortions. She is an amazing and well-loved woman. She enjoyed quilting, ceramics and knitting as hobbies. She is survived by her husband, Vincent Hannon, of 56 years, of New Kensington; son, Vincent (Karen) Hannon Jr., of Ballston Spa, N.Y., two daughters, Debra (Scott) Salisbury, of Cheswick, and Michele (Randall) Baumann, of Nutley, N.J.; and four grandchildren, Gavin Kenneth Salisbury, Gail Baumann and Sara and Katie Hannon. She is also survived by her brother, Bruno (Linda) Buset Jr., of Nutley, N.J.; and a large group of nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Everyone please meet at the church.
