Flora M. (Guercione) Ghia

Flora M. Ghia, 94, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in Lower Burrell. She was born October 26, 1931, in Arnold to the late Alphonse and Mary J. (Chiano) Guercione.

Flora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis V. Ghia, who passed in 2021, and by her daughter, Catherine Beck.

She is survived by her sons, Delmiro (Denise) Ghia of Tennessee and James Ghia of Nevada; her daughter, Mary Louise (James) Kunkle of Lower Burrell; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her brother, John Guercione. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Flora was a devoted member of Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington, as well as the Columbiana.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2–4 PM and 7–9 PM at Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 5th Ave., Arnold, PA 15068. Johnpaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor.

Prayers of transfer will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Mount St. Peter Church, New Kensington. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park.
