Gloria M Golembiewski

Gloria Golembiewski, 92, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Monday, April 17, 2023, in her residence. She was born May 29, 1930, in New Kensington, to the late Alfred and Mary (Conti) Petri. She was the wife of the late William Golembiewski. Gloria was also preceded in death by her brother, William Petri; and her sisters, Norma Johnson and Geraldine Fraser. Gloria was employed at the former Gulf Research and Development Center as the manager in the Cartography Department. Gloria was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, a member of the Addolorata Society and St. Anthony Guild and volunteered at Mt. St. Peter Food Bank and the Italian Festa, where she filled the cannolis. Gloria also was involved in cleaning the church. Gloria enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughter, Diane (the late Rob) Heidenreich, of New Kensington; two sons, David (Sandra) Golembiewski, of Allegheny Township, and Chris (Carol) Golembiewski, of Arnold; a brother, Robert (Carolyn) Petri, of New Kensington; four granddaughters, Shannon (Zachary) Rupert, Melissa (Brian) Mangone, Lauren (Matthew Buck) Golembiewski and Dana (Ralph) McPherson; five grandsons, Brian (Lisa) Heidenreich, Ryan Golembiewski, Jonathan (Amy Jordan, fiance) Golembiewski, Steven (Kelly) Golembiewski and Zachary (Gabrielle) Heidenreich; 10 great-grandchildren, William, Henry and Thomas Heidenreich, Austin Sites, Liam, Jackson and Melina Mangone, Andrew and Maggie Rupert and Riley Golembiewski. Gloria is also survived by two great-great-grandsons, Andrew and Alexander Sites. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, John Paul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mt.
