Heather Ann (Cooper) Orait

Heather Ann Orait, 42, of Harwick, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. Born on June 12, 1982, in Natrona Heights, she was the beloved daughter of Gregory and Shelley (Yaksetich) Cooper.

Heather was a cherished member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Harwick and devoted her life to her family and friends. She worked passionately as a hairdresser, forming meaningful relationships with her clients and bringing joy to those around her. Heather will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, and friend. Her loyalty, kindness, and radiant personality touched the lives of many, making her a shining star in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Heather’s family was the center of her world.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her two beloved daughters, Claire Ann Orait and Reese Jean Orait; her brother, Greg "Sonny Boy" Cooper; the father of her children, Matthew Orait; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and her devoted dog, Chase.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brady Jason Orait, and her daughter, Brooke Orait.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, PA 15068, John Paul Bertucci, owner and supervisor.

Prayers of transfer will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Harwick. Burial will take place at Lakewood Memorial Garden in Cheswick.
