Jacqueline Marie (Mondale) VanHorne

Jacqueline (Jacky) Marie VanHorne, 75, of Arnold, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her home. A daughter of the late Jack Mondale and Catherine (Mautino) Mondale, she was born on October 2, 1948, in New Kensington. She was the beloved wife of the late Terry VanHorne.

Jacky was a 1966 graduate of Arnold High School. She was an active member of Mount Saint Peter Catholic Church.  As a role model to her grandchildren, Jacky was the ultimate gourmet chef and would bring her family and friends to the heart of the kitchen with her passion for cooking.  She loved taking vacations with her family and enjoyed playing card games.

She is survived by her loving son, Jason, and daughter-in-law, Becky Girardi of Prosper, TX; two granddaughters, Gianna and Gemma Girardi; a sister, Kathleen (Roger) Diffendarfer of Denver, North Carolina; and brother, Keith (Lisa) Mondale of Denver, North Carolina.  She will also be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Jacky on Sunday, October 22nd, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 5th Ave. Arnold, Pa 15068, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. A Funeral mass will be held, Monday, October 23rd, 10:00 AM at Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, 100 Freeport Rd. New Kensington, Pa 15068. Everyone please go directly to the church.
