James Dzugan, 92, of New Kensington, passed peacefully on October 6, 2025, at Quality Life Services, Sarver. He was born May 22, 1933, in Springdale to the late George and Mary (Kosta) Dzugan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lillian M. Dzugan, in 2017; a son, James G. Dzugan; four brothers, Andrew “Bozy”, Johnny, Mikey, and Georgie; and six sisters, Annie, Mary, Margie, Pauline, Betty, and Honey Jean.
James is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington and enjoyed carpentry, cooking, canning vegetables, and was also an excellent gardener. James was a proud US Navy Veteran.
Friends will be received on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:30 AM until prayers of transfer at 11:30 AM in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 5th Avenue, Arnold, PA 15068, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner–supervisor. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 noon in Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Arnold.
