Jean Ann Sbaraglia, 68 of Allison Park, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at home. She was born Sept. 7, 1952, in Pittsburgh, to the late Joseph and Joan (Demharter) Sbaraglia. Jean was a generous and loving soul whose greatest joy was found in giving. Her door was always open, there was always nourishment for the body and soul, and no one who entered her door ever went hungry. Strangers were people she just hadn't met yet. She was the rock of the family and strong in her faith and her perseverance. Every problem had a solution and everything worked out "the way it was supposed to." She was always up for a laugh, or a game of Italian cards. She found great joy on trips to the beach, family vacations and gatherings and watching Hallmark movies. She loved music and art and decorating her family's home. Christmas was her most favorite time of year when she would fill the house with music and singing; baking and cooking in preparation for the annual family gathering. Aunt Jean's house was THE place to be where there was always "room for one more." Most of all she loved being at home with her family, with the family's three dogs on her lap watching a Hallmark Christmas movie. She survived her life partner and loving companion of 44 years, Denise A. Macerelli, Allison Park; two Daughters, Kara Elise Sbaraglia and Kathryn Marie Sbaraglia, and a son Jacob Aman Sbaraglia. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces & nephews, godchildren and dear friends. Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 5th. Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci owner/supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place 9:30 a.m. Wednesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
