Joe R Fair

Joe R. Fair, 88, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully at Allegheny General Hospital, Wednesday, August 14, 2024.  He was born on June 26, 1936 in Madison Township, PA.  Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Maude (Peters) Fair, a brother, and 6 sisters.   

He was a proud US Army veteran and was employed as a steel worker with USX Sintering Plant for several years.  Joe was a member of the 7th Street Sportsman Club in which he served as bar manager and bartender for several years.  He enjoyed going out to eat and loved spending time with his family. 

Joe is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Caperell) Fair, 3 children, Joel David Fair, Meadville, Barry Kirkland, FL, and Tammy (John) Kunkle, WV, sister, Rosella Cochran, grandchildren Dr. Christine (Shawn) Flinn, WV, Dr. Timothy (Kristin) Kunkle, MD, 2 great-grandsons, Samuel and Nathan Kunkle, and many nieces and nephews.    

Visitation will take place Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 10:00 A.M.- 11:30 A.M. in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc. 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, PA 15068, John Paul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. Burial will be private.
