MEMBERSHIPS/ INTERESTS John was a member of Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington and the Holy Name Society of the church, Moose Lodge #53 and Sons of Italy, New Kensington, and President of the Residents Council of Belair Nursing Home. He also served as a Corporal in the Army during WWll and took part in the invasion of Saipan.

SURVIVORS: Wife Rose (Arabia) Discello of 73 years, 3 Sons, John (Stephanie) Discello, Arizona, Joseph (Deborah) Discello, Lower Burrell, Michael (Christina) Discello, New Kensington, a Daughter, Marian (David) Rosenberger, New Kensington, 8 Grandchildren, Joseph (Allison) Discello, Christy Discello, Danielle (Jerry) Hurley, Julia (Joseph) Stanonis, Nicole Rosenberger, Joshua Discello, Jason (Emily) Discello, Sara (Joseph) Schwartz, 8 Great-grandchildren,, Alexis Aiello, Dominic Discello, Joseph III and Alaina Discello, Ava Schwartz, Jason Discello Jr.,  Joseph and Allison Stanonis.

VISITATION TIME & WHERE: Friends will be received Wednesday 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc. 1509 5^th. Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci Owner/Supervisor.

FUNERAL TIME & PLACE:       Prayers of transfer will take place Thursday, 9:30 A.M.  in the Funeral home followed by a funeral Mass  at 10:00 A.M. in Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington.

BURIAL: Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell
