Joseph S. Marzullo III

Joseph S. Marzullo III went Home with the Lord on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the age of 91 and was greeted at the heavenly gates by his wife of 55 years Lillian (Beal) Marzullo.  He was a lifelong resident of New Kensington, PA and the pillar of a large Italian family. 

Joe was the devoted son of the late Joseph and Josephine Marzullo; beloved husband to the late Lillian (Beal) Marzullo; loving father to Joseph (Jane) Marzullo and Joyce (Dave) Traenkner; doting Papa to Katie (John) Kuhn, Andrew Marzullo, Nicholas (Karen) Traenkner, and Kristofor (Erin) Traenkner; caring Great-“Papa” to Maxwell, Maverick, and Mason Kuhn, who kept him on his toes; loyal brother to Beverly (Robert) Dreher, John (Betsy) Marzullo, Eugene (Mona, deceased), and the late Anthony (Tecla) Marzullo; cherished uncle “Unc” to Robert (Fawnda) Dreher, Gianna Dreher, Ava Dreher, many nieces and nephews along with their children whom he loved dearly.

Known around town as one snazzy dresser, Joe was a self-professed haberdasher in his early years and retired from the New Kensington School District where he worked in supply and maintenance. When he wasn’t in his garden tending to his beautiful roses and delicious tomatoes, he could be found on the front porch singing Italian songs with a cup of coffee and chatting with the mailman and his neighbors. Joe was a member of Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington and had a great love for the Lord! 

Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2022, at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA 15068.  Arrangements are entrusted to Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc, Arnold, PA
