Joseph Michael Mennitto

Joseph Michael Mennitto, 72, of New Kensington, he went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2021. He was born October 12, 1948, in New Kensington, his parents were late Joseph and Catherine "Kay" (Olar) Mennitto. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Diane (Torrence) Mennitto. Joe was a member of Mt. St. Peter R. C. Church, New Kensington and the Holy Name Society of the church. He graduated from New Kensington High School where he was a tackle on the football team and also a graduate of Youngstown State University. He retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp, Brackenridge and was a co-owner of the Crow Bar in Arnold for many years. Joe and Lorraine enjoyed vacationing at Cape May, New Jersey. Joe also enjoyed golfing, movies, all sports, especially college football and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lorraine (Reighard) Mennitto, New Kensington, 2 Sons, Brody Mennitto, OR and Brent (Amanda) Mennitto, Lower Burrell; a Grandson, Bowen Eliot Mennitto, Lower Burrell and a Uncle, Michael (Christine) Olar, New Kensington. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Thursday from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. in the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc. 1509 5th Ave. Arnold , John Paul Bertucci, owner / supervisor. Where a Funeral Liturgy outside Mass will take place Friday 10 A.M. . Burial will be at Union Cemetery.
