Josephine Hadley, 93, of Arnold passed away peacefully Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Quality Life Services, Apollo. She was born May 9, 1929, in Arnold, to the late Domenic and Frances (Camarrata) Puglisi. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and Michael Puglisi. Josephine was a lifetime member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and was very devout to her faith. She retired from Montgomery Wards after many years of service. She enjoyed cooking and especially Sunday dinners in her home with her family close by. Josephine had many friends and loved to play cards, dancing and surrounding herself with all those that she loved. Josephine is survived by two sons, Mark (Laura) Hadley, of Carnegie, and Chris (Linda) Hadley, of North Washington Township. She is also survived by a daughter, Tina (Gregg Soergel) Hadley, of Mars. Josephine is survived by a brother, Philip Puglisi, of Washington; and a sister, Grace Puglisi, of Arnold. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kristin (Tony) Fonzi, Jennifer (Joe) Muto and Nicholas Hadley; four step-grandchildren, Nicole Moore, Gema Kun, Alan (Carole Pagane) Wills and Jessie (Chris) Hall; two great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Sophia; and nine step-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington.
