Joyce (Moresi) Gaito

Joyce Gaito, 88, of Arnold, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Rosebrook Adult Living, Sarver. She was born June 18, 1936, in New Kensington, to the late Joseph “Peppe” and Aurelia (Giulioli) Moresi, and was preceded by her husband of  64 years, Charles Gaito and a sister, Roberta.  Joyce was a registered nurse who worked at Citizens General Hospital, ALCOA Research Center and St. Margaret Hospital.  She was a member of Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington, the Addolorata Society and was a life member of the Saint Anthony Guild of the Church.  She enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.  Joyce will also be remembered for hosting festive Christmas Eve parties for her family and friends for many decades.

Joyce is survived by two sons, Joseph (Jill) Gaito, Carlisle and Thomas (Terri) Gaito, of Virginia; eight grandchildren, Dominic and Anthony Gaito, Giovanni (Hope), Cassidy, Carly, Samantha, Claire, Michael Gaito and a brother Robert (Carol) Moresi, Delaware. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received from 7 to 9 P.M. on Friday, August 2nd at the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 5th Ave., Arnold, PA 15068, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor.  Prayers of transfer will take place 9:30 A.M. Saturday, August 3rd in the Funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass 10 A.M. in Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Arnold.
