Obituary

Julia E DePetro, 95, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, Tuesday, August 15, 2023.  She was born on November 19,1927 in New Kensington to the late Stanley and Ethel (Reighard) Lacinski.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony DePetro in 2018, her brother, John Lacinski, and her sister Margaret “Peggy” Greco.

Julia was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington.  Julia was strong on the outside but provided warmth and generosity from the love inside her to all that knew her.  She was exceptionally dedicated as a wife, mother, and grandmother.  

Julia is survived by her two daughters, Laurene (John Loehner) Bonetto and Lisa (Eduardo) Bayotlang, both of Plum.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, Keith Bonetto of Plum, Anthony (Amy) Bonetto of Mars, and Lauren (Jake) Seagriff of Plum and two great grandchildren, Norah and Braxton Bonetto.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service which will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18 at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington.   The burial will be private.

All arrangements were in the care of the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, John Paul Bertucci owner/Supervisor.
