Julia M (Monac) Onuska

Julia M. Onuska of New Kensington, formerly of Midland, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on August 25, 2024.  She was born on March 20, 1931, to the late William Palino and Francesca (DePlacido) Monac.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Onuska, six brothers, and four sisters.

Julia was the owner of Julia’s Beauty Shop in Midland for many years.  She enjoyed having family and friends at her home especially for the holidays.  Julia loved going shopping every chance she got and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus.    

Julia is survived by her loving daughter Georgine (James) Elias of New Kensington, her grandchildren, Jordan and Slone Elias, and several nieces and nephews. 

Services and burial will be private and are in entrusted to the care of the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold PA, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor.
