Karen S. (Adiutori) Frederick

Karen S. Frederick, 63, of New Kensington, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born May 17, 1957, in Erie, daughter of the late Lidano and Elizabeth Adiutori. She was the wife of 39 years of Ronald A. Frederick, of New Kensington. She was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, past secretary of the Addolorata Society, active with the Legacy Committee, fish fries, Community Closet, Festa and former choir director, all with the church. Karen was a music educator and choral director at Shaler School District for many years. A graduate of Indiana University of PA, she earned a masters in music education. She found great enjoyment giving of her time with all church ministries at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Ronald A. Frederick, of New Kensington, a brother, William (Krystal) Adiutori, of Erie, sister-in-law, Mary Anne Frederick, of New Kensington, and she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci owner/supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karen's name to Mt.
