Obituary
Kenneth J. Spisak Sr., 94, of Lower Burrell, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Quality Life, Apollo. He was born Oct. 20, 1927, in Arnold, son of the late Harry and Sophia (Oshnock) Spisak. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Danjou) Spisak, in 2003, and his sister, JoAnn Castorina. Kenneth was a 1945 graduate of Arnold High School, a proud World War II Navy veteran and a life member of Creighton Hose Co. and a member of other Arnold fire departments. He worked for Allegheny Ludlum for 47 years, retiring in 1996. Survivors include his daughter, Jane Marie (John) Simon, of Lower Burrell; a son, Kenneth (Laura) Spisak Jr., of Oakmont; three grandchildren, John (Kelly) Simon, of Lower Burrell, Cara (Dan) Smiczek, of California, and Mike (Caitlin) Spisak, of California; and four great-grandchildren, Zachary Simon, River and Eliot Smiczek and Ty Spisak. Arrangements are in the care of GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. All services and burial were private.
