Leonard A. Logut, 72, of Lower Burrell, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, in H.J. Heinz VA Hospital, Aspinwall. He was born May 11, 1948, in New Kensington, son of the late Andrew and Naomi (Fogle) Logut. He was the husband for 45 years of Carol J. (Ploski) Logut, of Lower Burrell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Philip A. Logut; and two brothers, Andrew and David Logut. He enjoyed watching the Steelers and the Lower Burrell Baby Blue baseball team, watching his grandchildren playing sports, attending every game that he could. Also, he loved to travel to Myrtle Beach during the winter months, enjoyed golfing, and was a proud Vietnam Army veteran. He is survived by a son, Keith (Jamie) Logut, of Lower Burrell; a daughter, Lori Logut Thomas, of Saxonburg; five grandchildren, Dakota Thomas, Jaxon and Parker Logut, and Taylor (Roman) Denson and Daija L. Logut; and two great-grandchildren, Roman Denson Jr. and Alina Marie Denson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
