Leonard L. Paletta

Leonard "Skeets" Paletta passed away peacefully on 11/24/2024 at the age of 92. Born on March 26, 1931 to Mickey and Josephine Paletta, he was preceded in passing by Mildred, his loving wife of 60 years, and Beth Ann, his beloved daughter. He is survived by his son Michael (Rosanna) and his grandchildren Michael, Anthony, and Catherine. Prior to his retirement, he served as Executive Director for the Westmoreland County Housing Authority for thirty-three years. He was an original board member of the Westmoreland County Community College, and served as president of the Pennsylvania Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities. He was a lifelong parishioner of Mount St. Peter's church. He loved his family, his faith, politics, Steeler football, and most of all, New Kensington. A Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be held Wednesday November 29, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Mount Saint Peter's R.C. church 100 Freeport Rd New Kensington, Pa 15068. Everyone please go directly to the church. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
