Madeline G (Zampogna) Laurent

Madeline “Maddie” G. Laurent, 83, of Arnold, passed peacefully on February 27, 2026. She was born on July 22, 1942, in Arnold, to the late Angelo Adolfo and Florence (Gallo) Zampogna.

Besides her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Laurent, in 2007; her sons, Jeffrey and Brian Coutch, a daughter, Kristen Coutch, a grandson Noah Coutch and a great grandson Richard McBeth. She is survived by her son, Robert Coutch and his wife Sharon, 6 grandchildren, Sam, Eli, Michael and Gage Coutch, Kayla and Logan Bryant, 2 great grandchildren, Meighan and Lukas, sisters, Dolly (John) Regoli and Patty Piontek, a brother, Sonny Zampogna, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Madeline graduated from Arnold High School in 1960. She worked as a secretary throughout her career, serving at several companies including Alcoa, PPG, Penn Alle Coal, and Valley Plumbing. She enjoyed collecting coins and spending time playing cards. Madeline was a member of Mt. St Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington, past President of the Order of the Eastern Star, and she also belonged to the VFW 92 Auxiliary Women’s Guild.

Above all, Madeline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her grace, warmth, and quiet strength touched many lives, and she leaves behind cherished memories that will be held close forever.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. till time of Prayers of Transfer at 11:30 a.m. in the Giunta Bertucci Funeral Home Inc., 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, PA 15068. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, at 12 Noon at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Burial will be private.
