Patrice Marie (Murphy) Dokmanovich

Patrice Marie Dokmanovich, 51, of Pittsburgh, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born April 23, 1971, in Pittsburgh, to the late Bryan Murphy who passed in 2010 and Georgia (Felix) Murphy of Pittsburgh. She was the loving wife of Michael Dokmanovich for 23 years.

We all know Patrice couldn't sit still so naturally, moving around a lot during her early 20s only benefitted Patrice, her caring and inviting personality was contagious as it lifted people along with her everywhere she went. Patrice’s maternal instincts didn't just attract people but animals too. Michael (her husband) would look forward to a phone call approximately once a year that usually started with “Ok, so you can’t be mad”, then being followed by a new pet walking in the door thirty minutes later. Today, we’re all gathering around to celebrate her and the impact she had on all our lives. For a woman who had her own battles to fight she consistently chose to fight for everyone else and continuously prove herself to be one of the most selfless human beings which we all can agree on. As if running her own business wasn't enough, she was carpooling to cheer, hosting sleepovers, attending countless horseback riding competitions, lacrosse games, planning birthday parties, helping people find their forever homes, countless weekends of high school and college football events and that doesn’t even cover the half of the tasks she’d manage to do all while being a mother of 4 and an amazing wife. Now we all get to watch that strong, courageous legacy live through the four amazingly independent girls she raised and taught. The word resilience wouldn’t begin to describe Patrice and the hardships she overcame in her life, she made the unimaginable become possible for everyone around her every day!   

  Besides her husband and Mother, she is Survived by her Four Daughters, Mackenzie Dokmanovich, Maggie Dokmanovich, Morgan Dokmanovich, and Mary Dokmanovich; Three Brothers, Bryan (Nancy) Murphy of Chicago, IL, George (Nicole) Murphy of Wexford, PA, Michael (Nicole) Murphy of Pittsburgh, PA; brother-in-law, Dan (Laura) Dokmanovich, Beaver Falls, PA.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Riley's Pour House 215 E. Main St. Carnegie, Pa 15106 announced in the future. The burial was private.
