Robert Ernest Graziano, age 86, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026.
Born September 2, 1939, in New Kensington, he was the second-born child of the late Dominic Graziano and Ermelinda “Amy” (Bonelli) Graziano. Robert “Bob” had three brothers, the late Anthony Graziano of Champaign, IL, Dominick (Mickey) Graziano of Huntersville, NC, and the late David Graziano of Arnold, PA.
Bob attended Arnold High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe. Following college, he worked as a labor foreman for Easley & Rivers Interior Contractors in Pittsburgh. From 1964 to 1966, he served his country in the U.S. Army as a military policeman in Garmisch, Germany. Following an honorable discharge from the Army, he returned to Easley & Rivers for a short time before beginning a dedicated and rewarding career with Alcoa Laboratories in New Kensington and Merwin, PA. After 30 years as a chemical and metallurgical technician with Alcoa, he retired in 1999 remaining in his Arnold homestead and faithfully cared for his mother.
Bob was a very jovial, loving, supportive, and generous man. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, including several generations of adoring cousins. He was a man of strong faith and an active member and supporter of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. He volunteered his time as an usher for the church and put his skills to work in the kitchen at many Italian Day Festivals. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, his favorite television shows, creating homemade wines, and attending family special events and holiday celebrations. He had a beautiful collection of family photos and was the family historian. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his loving smile and hearty laugh will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brother Dominick (Mickey) Graziano, his sister-in-law Denise (Valigursky) Graziano; his six nieces Amy and husband David Picarillo, Mary and husband JC Kiser, Kimberly and husband Matthew Jehs, Gina Bellone, Michelle and husband Curt Leeman, Renee and husband John Nixon; seven grandnieces Olivia, Grace, Julia, Sophia, Maddie, Katie, and Matilda; and six grandnephews Corbin, Joseph, Henry, Fischer, Carson, and Easton.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Anthony Graziano, and his sister-in-law, Paulette (Kaminski) Graziano.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Amanda and Lou for their care and support.
